In celebration of Isaiah’s one-year cancer-free milestone, the Brother, Let’s Heal Surgical Support Fund was created to help men—especially Black men—bridge the gap between diagnosis, surgery, and recovery.
Too many men face financial and emotional barriers after life-saving procedures. This fund provides practical help, human connection, and hope to those walking the same path Isaiah once did.
Mission & Impact
Our Mission:
To support men facing prostate and other men’s cancer surgeries through direct aid, peer navigation, and compassionate care.
Who We Help:
Men preparing for or recovering from surgery, along with their caregivers, starting in Greater Baton Rouge and expanding statewide as funding grows.
Our Impact:
Each contribution directly funds transportation, meals, lodging, and wellness resources that make healing possible.
What We Provide
A. Direct Aid

Rapid-Response Micro-Grants — $250–$1,000 for meals, transportation, co-pays, and lost wages

Travel & Lodging — Uber/Lyft credits, gas cards, and hotel stays

Care Kits — Hygiene items, socks, briefs, compression socks, journal, water bottle, and caregiver comfort kits
B. Human Support

Peer Navigators — Trained survivors offering check-ins and guidance

Caregiver Support Calls — Encouragement and resource-sharing for loved ones
C. Access & Awareness

Screening Vouchers — Free PSA test vouchers through partner clinics
